Parking your vehicle under a heavy-duty canopy carport before a winter storm can prevent snow and ice from building up and causing problems. But if you buy the wrong carport, it could let too much snow and ice linger on its roof, eventually causing it to collapse and doing untold damage to your car and anything else stored inside. If that happens, you’ll regret not spending more time shopping for a carport with a stronger, more reliable roof.
You can avoid this problem by going with the Dateyes 13-Foot by 20-Foot Canopy Carport from the start. It’s specifically designed to stop snow and ice from building up on its roof, and it’s currently on sale for over $250 off its regular retail price at Walmart. It normally costs $615, but it can be yours for only $360, a savings of over 40%.
Measuring about 13 feet wide, 20 feet long, and 10 feet tall, this carport offers plenty of storage space. It can fit most cars, pickup trucks, and SUVs, as well as other types of vehicles, including boats, tractors, ATVs, and more. You can also count on it to safely store many other things, such as lawn mowers, bicycles, power tools, and pretty much anything else you would normally put in a garage or shed. No matter what you store, the carport’s roll-up zippered door keeps everything easily accessible.
Still, it’s ultimately the strength and durability of this carport that distinguishes it from others, making it an especially enticing option for those planning to use it for vehicles. It has a reinforced frame made of galvanized steel tubes, which pairs well with the included anchoring system to hold the temporary structure steady, even when winter storms bring high winds to your area.

But the star of this show is the carport’s curved dome roof. Once assembled, it’s covered with a premium, water- and tear-resistant fabric, and it’s designed to greatly reduce the amount of snow and ice that can sit on top. They’ll slide right off its roof during winter storms, so you won’t need to worry about them remaining on the roof and putting your car and possibly even the entire structure at risk.
