The new Milwaukee Tool M18 Fuel SDS Max cordless demolition hammer (model no. 3018) is set to launch next month, November 2026.
It was announced earlier this year alongside other new cordless rotary hammers and demo tools – see Milwaukee Cordless Demolition and Rotary Hammer Expansion.
Milwaukee says that their new cordless 18 lb SDS Max demo hammer delivers 11.5 ft-lbs (15.5 Joules) of impact energy, and “hits harder than an 18 lb corded hammer.”
This gives professionals “the power and productivity needed for demanding chipping applications, without the hassles associated with cords.”

Although you’ll want to stick with the higher output battery sizes, the demo hammer is part of the M18 system, saving you from having to deal with multiple platforms.
How much does it weigh? 20.5 lbs with a battery, presumably one of the M18 FORGE 12Ah batteries that it’s kitted with.
Features include an AVS anti-vibration system, 4 speed settings, chisel lock, and chisel angle adjustments.
It can remove up to 1/3 ton of material per battery charge when powered with an M18 FORGE 12Ah battery.

The M18 Fuel 18 lb SDS Max demo hammer features One-Key compatibility for tool tracking and inventory management, and VacLink for wireless dust control when paired with compatible vacuums.

Here’s a look at the speed selection and VacLink controls.
The 3018-22HD kit comes with the M18 Fuel brushless demo hammer, 2x M18 FORGE 12Ah batteries, and an M18/M12 Rapid Charger.
Price: $1299 for the kit (3018-22HD)
ETA: November 2026
