I came across a new deal on the Dewalt DWS780 12-inch sliding miter saw at Home Depot.
The discount seemed too good to be true, and forced me to do a double-take. I then pulled out my phone to do some competitive shopping.
It’s really $449 right now.
I probably shouldn’t have been so surprised, as the same saw hit a similar price at Amazon a few months ago (see Amazon has a Rare Deal on Dewalt’s Best Miter Saw), although that deal was short-lived.
If you’re not familiar with this model, it’s Dewalt’s flagship 12″ sliding dual bevel miter saw.
The DWS780 has a cutting capacity of up to 2×14 in dimensional lumber at 90°, and features a Cutline LED shadow line blade positioning system.
It’s a fantastic miter saw at a great price. If you miss this deal, you might see some discounts throughout the year. Other times, it’s sold at its full price ($649) and bundled with a free miter saw stand.
