Klein Tools has launched new pliers wrenches in 7-inch (D5327) and 10-inch (D53210) sizes.
These aren’t their first pliers wrenches – Klein launched reversible jaw models a few years ago (see Klein Tools Launched a New Pliers Wrench).
The new pliers wrenches are quite a bit different.
Most noticeably, the new Klein pliers wrenches have grooved jaws. They describe the jaws as being “knurled.”
Like other tools of this kind, the new Klein pliers have a high leverage design with push-button adjustment. There are laser-etched size markings.
Pliers wrenches are typically smooth, and so you’ll have to be cautious where these are used. But, the grooved jaws should give them extra grip on rounded or damaged fasteners, and perhaps certain plumbing fittings.
Price: $28 for the 7″, $33 for the 10″
