Ford has announced the full selection of updates for the 2027 Bronco lineup, following the reveal of the rugged 2027 Bronco RTR. And, after the automaker said a new engine was coming to the Bronco lineup, we now know what that is. The automaker’s 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 is now available on several trims, bringing a lot more grunt to the lineup without stepping on the toes of the hardcore Raptor. Along with a more refined interior, the 2027 Bronco will give Jeep Wrangler fans another reason to reconsider.
More Power From Larger V6

Ford
The big news for the 2027 Bronco is the addition of the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6, which is based on the same engine architecture found in the Bronco. It produces 380 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque, making it easily more powerful than the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 (330 hp and 415 lb-ft). The Bronco Raptor is still the performer of the range, with its V6 making 418 hp/440 lb-ft. Ford did not explicitly state whether the new 3.0L replaces the 2.7L engine.
The new 3.0L V6 is standard on the stylish Bronco Filson and will be optional on the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage trim levels. The same 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder is expected to be equipped to lower trims.
Buyers after a capable off-roader will be interested in the new RTR, which comes with improved ground clearance, beadlock-capable wheels, and a wider stance. Its high ground clearance suspension and 33-inch rugged-terrain tires make it a formidable off-roader, and 35-inch tires are available, too.
New Features and Interior Trim

Ford
Ford says customers now have new ways to customize the Bronco. For the 2027 model year, Neptune Blue replaces Velocity Blue for the exterior, while the Filson comes with two exclusive colors: Field Green and Iron Sands Metallic.
There are new seating materials, with the Bronco Outer Banks receiving premium vinyl upholstery with the Lux Package. That replaces the standard leather seats available previously. On Bronco Badlands models, there are upgraded Marine Grade Vinyl seats, including the first power-adjustable seat with this upholstery option on this trim. These seats will be especially durable and easy to clean for customers who will often be using their Bronco for off-roading.
On Big Bend models with the Mid Package, a heated steering wheel joins the selection of features. This feature was previously reserved for more expensive Bronco models.

Availability and Pricing

Ford
Ford has not yet said when the 2027 Bronco will go on sale, but we expect this to happen sometime in the course of the fourth quarter. We also anticipate a slight price bump; the 2026 Bronco starts at $41,295. We’ll also be eyeing the price to upgrade to the new 3.0L V6; the older 2.7L V6 costs $3,295 extra on the 2026 Bronco Outer Banks.
Ford has confirmed that the Bronco RTR will start at just above $50,000 when it arrives, but expect to pay over $60,000 for an RTR loaded up with every available option. The configurator for the 2027 Bronco has not gone live yet, but we’ll cover a full update on pricing and options when it does.
