Garages are functional spaces, and functional spaces need light. That’s true whether your own garage is primarily a place for storage, auto repairs, home projects, working out, or something entirely different. A light that illuminates the entire garage (and can shine even brighter in specific areas) is a must-have, and Walmart has a couple on sale with hefty discounts.
A pair of the Ocest LED Garage Lights is on sale for $29 at Walmart, 52% off its normal $60 price tag. It screws into a standard E27 lightbulb holder but puts out a ton more light and allows you to tweak exactly where it shines. As home upgrades go, it’s hard to think of anything simpler or more impactful, especially compared to other garage lights that need to be installed by a professional electrician.
The structure of these lights is simple: one central LED light surrounded by eight adjustable LED “leaves” that can be rotated in a 90-degree range. That means you can shine more light on your workbench, inside your car, or wherever else it’s needed, and the fact that there’s minimal space between the leaves means there aren’t any of the natural darker areas that you can get with lights that have fewer leaves with more space between them. This light is super bright, pumping out up to 32,000 lumens of 6,500K light, and that means it does put off some heat. But, it’s designed and built to dissipate that heat, something that makes it safe to install and also extends its service life.
