A power tool collection is only as useful as its batteries, and every extra battery and charger you get means more time spent working and less time spent waiting for batteries to charge. Right now, Amazon has a big discount, more than 50%, on a kit from a reliable brand that comes with a pair of batteries and a charger.
The Craftsman 20V Power Tool Battery 2-Pack with Charger is on sale for $80, 58% off its list price of $189. We’ve covered the pair of Craftsman 4Ah batteries before, but this is a better deal on a more comprehensive set, and it comes with a fantastic discount. It’s actually $3 cheaper than just that pair of batteries right now, a sure sign that this deal is a real discount worth pouncing on.
The two batteries are 4.0Ah, 20V lithium ion batteries that are compatible with over 100 different Craftsman V20 cordless tools, from weed whackers to angle grinders to work lights to chainsaws. They contain premium grade high-performance cells that Craftsman says have a longer charging cycle for extended battery life. Each has a button that, when pressed, activates the three-LED state of charge indicator so you can easily keep an eye on how much juice is left in a given battery. The charger also has a charging indicator, and it can be mounted to the wall for easy access that doesn’t sacrifice valuable work space.

The “charger works well,” wrote one shopper. “I’ve been using it regularly and the batteries hold up for a good amount of time. They are very portable and reliable for regular use in a jig saw, reciprocating saw, and leaf blower.”
“So far, the pair of 4.0Ah batteries haven’t disappointed,” another customer added. “The charger seems to charge faster than the smaller one included in the drill driver combo.”
