I just tried to order a Kobalt tool from Lowe’s shortly after posting about it.

At the time, it said fast same-day delivery if I order by 2pm. $2.99 delivery fee? I could pad my order to avoid that. I couldn’t think of any other tools I needed or wanted to try immediately, but I remembered that I need clear trash bags.
I added contractor bags to my cart.
It gave me warnings at checkout.
Clear trash bags are restricted from delivery to my area.
Okay. So I added a different brand, with drawstring closure.
Success! I got my order in at 1:50pm, and they waived the delivery charge.
Same-day delivery, here it comes!
They cancelled the order less than 10 minutes later. No explanation, just a cancellation.
I placed the order online to avoid having to go to my closest Lowe’s store.
The website says they had plenty in stock for delivery. So what’s the problem?
I learned my lesson. I guess I won’t be trying the new “Kobalt Chrome 10 -Piece 1-in Ratcheting Multi-Bit Replaced” tool after all.
