Bosch launched their new L-Boxx Contractor tool boxes in the USA last summer, and are now shipping.
You can find Bosch L-Boxx Contractor tool boxes and limited accessories at Acme Tools, Lowe’s (online only), Amazon, and I’m sure elsewhere.
There’s a rolling tool box, small and large tool boxes, crate, tool bag, 3-drawer tool box, and legacy L-Boxx docking station that looks like it could work well with organizers.
I’m seeing new accessories launching overseas, such as a 4-wheel trolley base.
Now that this long-anticipated modular storage system is finally here, what are everyone’s thoughts on it so far?
I still have yet to see it in person.
Frankly, a lot of my excitement has worn away, but I am still encouraged about some of the expansion products being teased in Europe.
For example, the new Bosch L-Boxx Contractor 5-drawer tool box looks to fit Sortimo bins, which would make it great for small part organization. However, I’m seeing pricing that converts to ~$400 not including VAT or taxes.
It will be interesting to see where this system goes.
I’m very surprised that Bosch started shipping L-Boxx Contractor tool boxes in the USA months ago, and there’s still little chatter.
There’s not much being said by tool users, retailers, or even Bosch in the USA. So, I thought I’d give everyone a nudge.
