Isotunes has apparently launched a new clip-on mini Bluetooth speaker, the Sidekick.
I didn’t hear about the Isotunes Sidekick speaker before this, have you?
My first introduction to the new product is an ad where Isotunes dumped on a rather good Dewalt product.
I don’t know about you, but that seems like a very dirty move.
After clicking through, I saw that Isotunes is advertising their mini speaker for $100, although I did find it already discounted to $80 at Walmart.
The Dewalt is $58 at the time of this posting.
Interestingly, it looks like there’s a similar-looking product selling for $20 at Amazon. I found another for as low as $12.99.
What’s going on here? It looks a lot like the Isotunes Sidekick launched recently.
Looking at the product pages, Amazon has user reviews and pricing details for the Infurture speakers that predates Isotunes’ launch by months. They also show pricing dips to $13.49 for the black speaker.
The green one has pricing history going back to December, and has been as low as $9.99.
None of this looks good for Isotunes.
