The Yeti LoadOut GoBox 1 portable gear case reminds me a lot of the smaller containers that Pelican and Otterbox used to make.
It was designed to be an “ultra-portable, no-fail gear safe sized to keep your small essentials secure.”
This Yeti GoBox is said to be dustproof, waterproof, and “virtually indestructible.”

Features include a silicone mesh gear sleeve “Packattic,” removable tray, and tether strap.
In the image above, you can see the weather seal.

The Yeti Loadout GoBox 1 measures 9.95″ long, 5.46″ wide, and 2.93″ tall.
Inside, the storage compartment measures 7.43″ long, 3.85″ wide, and 2.26″ tall.
Yeti sells it in a range of 5 “core colors” – red, orange, black, grey, and tan. There are 2 seasonal colors at the time of this posting, olive and purple.
Price: $65
See the Pelican Ruck R40

Pelican still has their Micro cases, and also a line of better-featured Ruck cases, such as this R40.
The Ruck R40 seems like Pelican’s direct competitor to the Yeti Loadout GoBox 1. It’s priced at $70.

The Pelican Micro 1030 is smaller, and priced at $28 at the time of this posting. It’s smaller and less featured than the other Yeti and Pelican gear cases mentioned above.
Otterbox used to have gear cases too, but seems to have moved their entire business into phone cases and mobile electronics accessories.
