Wera has launched a new Flashdriver tool – a screwdriver with a built-in flashlight. Wera USA has confirmed that it will be a “limited edition piece” that will “only be available in this year’s advent calendar.”
The Wera Flashdriver looks like a pretty sweet tool, with 1/4″ hex bit holder, compact size, and dual mode flashlight.
There are 2 brightness settings, with a max output of 80 lumens. Wera’s datasheet and product pages don’t mention the type of battery.
The Wera advent calendar for 2026 includes a selection of other tools and accessories, and also modular storage options for carrying them around.
Here’s a look at the 4 modules and their storage accessories – a hex key set, the Wera Flashdriver screwdriver handle, bit storage rail with carabiner clip, and a mini screwdriver bit handle.
All of the tools modules attach to the included 4-slot storage organizer.
Wera designed the modular tool organizer such that it can be propped up for accessibility (or display).
They added that it’s fully compatible with the other modular tool sets and storage options that launched with the 2024 calendar tool set.

At this time, the advent calendar is available for preorder, and is expected to ship in late September 2026.
This looks like a convenient EDC tool with handy carry options, I placed my preorder today via KC Tool.
