It’s official – Amazon Prime Day 2026 will be in June this year.
Prime Day 2026 will be a 4-day sales event, spanning from Tuesday June 23rd thru Friday June 26th.
I think we can also expect for competing retailers to have their own early summer sales.
Will there be tool deals? Probably. There usually are.
Will there be deals on the tools I actually want to buy? Maybe.

Prime Day follows closely after Father’s Day, and so we’re likely going to get a mix of leftover deals and early July 4th deals.
I’m grown a bit jaded about these mega sales events. There will be tool deals and bargains, but everything kind of blurs together. I’m sure there will be some standouts, and I’ll work to cherry-pick them from the junk no-name brands that dominate Amazon’s promo pages.
Unsurprisingly, we’re already seeing “early Prime Day deals” and “limited time deals” as Amazon and some brands seek to extend and leverage the hype.
With Prime Day set for 3 weeks from now, I’ll be holding off on buying some of the things I don’t immediately need. Why buy it now when certain types of tools and consumer products are almost guaranteed to be discounted in 3 weeks?
