Klein Ratchet Ball Screwdriver 32960ARCHT

A flood of reviews flooded YouTube and social media recently, hyping up a new Klein Tools ratcheting ball grip screwdriver, model 32960ARCHT.

Let’s take a look!

The new Klein screwdriver looks similar to the ball driver that Klein launched a few months ago – see Klein Tools has a New Ball Handle Screwdriver (Availability Update) – but with a ratcheting mechanism built into the end of the handle.

Klein Ratchet Ball Screwdriver 32960ARCHT Features

The double-ended screwdriver bit has Phillips #2 and slotted 6mm tips, and is removable.

Klein Ratchet Ball Screwdriver 32960ARCHT Universal Bit Compatibility

Klein says it has “universal bit compatibility” and works with “most 1/4″ hex bits longer than 1.5″ in length.”

Price: $30

Vessel Ball Handle Ratcheting Screwdriver

I really like the Vessel ball grip ratcheting screwdriver, which at the time of this posting is less expensive than the Klein.

Vessel Ball Handle Ratcheting Screwdriver Detachable Stubby

The Vessel works with 1/4″ hex shank bits and you can even pop off the end of the handle for use as a stubby screwdriver.

Even though the Klein seems less featured, it’s good to have options.

Anex Ratcheting Ball Handle Screwdriver

Anex also has a ratcheting ball handle driver with a removable double ended shaft. It’s made in Japan and priced at $19 at the time of this posting.

Ball handle screwdrivers, construction jacks (see New Klein Construction Jack Takes on Dewalt), bit holder sets (see Klein Bit Holder Set has a Unique Carabiner), bit ratchets (see Klein Tools Upgraded their Mini Bit Ratchet) – what tool trends do you think Klein will jump onto next? Like I said, it’s good to have more options. I guess we’ll all have to tune into their influencer network to find out.
