I ran into a huge surge in new tool listings in Lowe’s online store, mostly from 3rd party sellers.
Shown above is a listing for the “Craftsman Apex Tool Group Diamond N10 10-inch nail cutting nipper.”
This and other tools have come up in my various searches in Lowe’s online store.
So is it a Craftsman tool? Crescent? Diamond? These are all different tool brands!

Here’s a listing for the “Bosch Skil EZ406-02 starter kit.”
Interestingly, Amazon also has a direct listing for this, at half the price. The Dremel listing is also less expensive.
Bosch owns Dremel. Skil is owned by Chervon Holdings. They’re different companies!

We previously spotted a flood of new Dewalt hand tools at much higher prices than at Home Depot. Apparently these were from 3rd party sellers too. See Dewalt Atomic and ToughSeries Tools are Now at Lowe’s!

I was testing out Lowe’s new AI chatbot (I think it’s terrible). I asked about “impact drivers for 99,” and it recommended Diablo.

Apparently Lowe’s now carries Diablo nut drivers, and because they’re classified as impact drivers, Lowe’s shopping assistant considers them impact drivers.
A lot of these appear to be 3rd party listings.
What are your thoughts on Lowe’s catalog expansion?
