Hilti Cordless Table Saw with Rolling Stand Used at Jobsite

Following is a rundown of the most significant tool developments Hilti has announced for 2026 thus far.

The tools were shown off at the World of Concrete 2026 event, and I’m told more information will be available at a later time.

New Hilti Nuron Cordless Table Saw

Hilti SCT 60-22 Cordless Table Saw 2026 Update

The new Hilti Nuron 22V cordless table saw (SCT 60-22) – I believe a first for the brand – features a 10″ blade, Dewalt-style rack and pinion fence, and optional rolling stand for jobsite portability.

New Hilti ProKit Cordless Vacuum

Hilti’s new cordless vacuum (VC 2-22 PK), with 1.3 gallon capacity and ~49 CFM max airflow, is the first Nuron battery-powered product that’s compatible with their ProKit storage system.

New Hilti Cordless Rotary Hammers

Hilti TE 8-22 Cordless Rotary Hammer SDS Plus with Dust Box

There will be several new rotary hammers:

TE 8-22 – SDS Plus (compatible with TE DRS-22 on-board vacuum)
TE 30-22 – SDS Plus
TE 70-22 – SDS Max

New Hilti ProKit Tool Box Expansion

Hilti ProKit PKD 61-21 XL Triple Drawer Tool Box

Hilti teased that they will be adding drawer tool boxes to the ProKit lineup.

They were unable to answer any questions, but said more information will be available some time in the future.

New Hilti Core Drill Slurry Vacuum and Water Supply

Hilti Waste Management System WMS 100-22 Water

The new Hilti WMS 100-22 Water Management System is said to deliver up to 1 full day of water supply for wet diamond coring applications. It will have an ECO mode for longer filter life and more holes per water fill.

New Hilti Cordless Drill

Hilti Nuron 22V Cordless Multi-head Drill SF 8M-22 03

The new Hilti SF 8M-22 cordless drill is a 4-gear model with 55 Nm (~487 in-lbs) max soft joint torque, and 75 Nm (~664 in-lbs) max hard joint torque.

It has a multi-chuck tool head. In North America it will ship with a high speed self-tightening chuck and right angle chuck.

New Hilti Nuron Jackhammers

There are 3 new breaker hammers for general purpose and specialty applications:

TE 3000-22 – cordless jackhammer
TE 1000-22 – cordless demolition hammer
TE 600-22 – cordless wall breaker hammer

New Hilti Nuron Batteries

Hilti Nuron Batteries - New Higher Capacity vs Older Lower Capacities

There are 2 new higher capacity battery sizes:

B 22-195 (9Ah)
B 22-290 (13.5Ah)

Hilti has said that the new batteries feature “multi-tab” cells, and that these will replace existing Hilti high capacity batteries.

The new 9Ah battery will replace the 8Ah battery (B 22-170), and the 13.5Ah battery will be replacing the 12Ah battery (B 22-255).

Generally speaking, where similar Li-ion battery cell technologies are used, lower charge capacity cells are typically capable of higher output. To achieve matching or improved power delivery in higher capacity Li-ion battery cells, different technologies must be used.

Hilti provided a comment about the construction and developments of the new batteries:

The pack must be designed to deliver the power, and the interface must be designed to transfer the power. This is where the Hilti difference comes in. We have the 12-gauge braided copper wires inside the batteries to transfer high current and spring-loaded clips to positive connection with the tool. No other competitor has this on their 18V batteries.

Competing professional tool brands have moved to tabless Li-ion technology for battery packs that deliver higher power delivery and higher charge capacity. Hilti has not yet confirmed that this is what they did here, or if the new batteries simply offer extended runtime (which could potentially also mean reduced power delivery on paper).

Hilti provided further comment about the battery pack construction:

The cell configuration/tab method of connection is not the sole differentiator in and of itself. The design of the pack needs to be considered. The energy needs to flow from the cells (which have a resistance) through a connection (multi-tab; tabless, which has resistance), then be consolidated and transferred to the interface (which has resistance) and finally the energy needs transferred to the tool with stay positive connection.

Nuron batteries are designed to get more energy and power to the tool than the regular 18V batteries available on the market.

Flash Charging Battery

There will also be a new fast-charging battery, B22-260, that charges to 80% in as little as 20 minutes* when used with compatible chargers. (*Hilti has said that the charging time will vary depending on the charger used.)

Hilti has confirmed that the charge capacity will be 12Ah, but has not yet discussed the Li-ion technology used.

There are 2 options for fast-charging Li-ion technology – pouch-style cells (similar to Milwaukee M18 FORGE 6Ah and Dewalt PowerStack 1.7Ah, 3.5Ah, 5Ah), or tabless cells (similar to products launched by Dewalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita, and others).

A reader (thanks Big Richard!) recently pointed to a Hilti product safety documents, which describes this battery as having “pouch” battery cells.

New Hilti Nuron Band Saw

There will also be a new 3-1/4″ band saw, SB 5-22, featuring a unique bar handle, compact design, and 3X longer blade life compared to their 2.5″ saw.
