I ordered a Skyshalo product from Home Depot, rather than Vevor on Amazon, and was surprised to have received a Vevor product that had shipped via Vevor directly.
The Skyshalo was less expensive, and looked to have less branding.
To my surprise, UPS tracking showed Vevor Technology as the sender, and I received a Vevor-branded product in a Vevor-branded box.
The product itself is sloppily made, but passable. There are a couple of minor issues and it doesn’t hold as deep a vacuum as a stainless steel vacuum chamber I ordered at the same time from a different brand.
This led me to conclude that Vevor and Skyshalo are the same company.
I had thought maybe that Shyshalo and Vevor worked with the same OEM, but Vevor fulfilling Skyshalo product orders strongly suggests they’re both part of the same company.
I’m not happy to have ordered from either brand, but for this specific style of vacuum chamber, there’s little else available for less than $1000.
Looking online, search overviews say that the two companies are similar but different.
But digging deeper, the “Vevor Team” answers Skyshalo product questions in Home Depot product listings.
I don’t understand why there are identical products from Vevor and Skyshalo, but then again some major USA-based tool brands do the same.
