Outdoor lights are a simple way to make your outdoor spaces more usable, secure, and attractive after the sun goes down. Today’s solar lights remove the biggest headache about installing outdoor lights — running lots of power cabling, often in places where it’s in danger of getting run over by a lawn mower — for a dead-simple installation process that immediately pays dividends.
A 4-pack of the Nymphy Spot Solar Lights is just $32 at Amazon, 51% less than the $65 it will normally run you. This price is good on the cool white, warm white, and multicolor (that cycles through or stays on one of six colors) options. A 6-pack at the same $8 per light is available, but only for the warm white option.

These lights are spot lights, so they’re meant to cast light in a specific direction. Each one has a 4.3-inch by 3.5-inch solar panel and a 56-LED array of lights that can be adjusted 120 degrees up and down for precise pointing. They are made of sturdy ABS plastic and stand up well to heat, frost, and water — they’re IP68 waterproof as well. They turn on automatically when it gets dark and can be set to throw low, medium, or high amounts of light, up to 400 lumens, for 6 to 20 hours, depending on how much sunlight there is to charge the 1200-mAh battery during the day. The easiest way to install them is to jam the included 8.3-inch stake into the ground, but it’s also simple to install these lights on a wall if that better suits your outdoor space.

These lights are “super easy to install, and they light up bright” raved one shopper who bought four sets. Even though they placed them in areas with partial sun, they’ve worked great.
Another customer wrote that these lights “work super well and are easy to install.” They also “love that the light is adjustable and that they really are bright enough to illuminate.”
For $8 a light, a 4-pack of the Nymphy Spot Solar Lights is an extremely inexpensive, simple way to light up your yard. As long as they get a decent amount of sunlight during the day, they can give you lots of extra outdoor entertaining time at night, all while helping keep your home secure until the sun rises again.
