Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day for 10-9-2026

As mentioned in the title, I am loving today’s tool deals of the day at Home Depot.

First, they’re plenty varied. Dewalt Tesla EV charger? Sure. A couple of Makita 18V cordless power tools? Great! Milwaukee cordless outdoor power tools? Timely. There are some everyday tools and accessories mixed in.

Take a closer look at the screen capture I included above.

You can get a discount on the Milwaukee M12 Fuel cordless hammer drill and impact driver combo kit, and score a free battery with it as well. It’s not the best deal, but money saved is money saved for anyone who needs that tool kit now. Someone was asking on Reddit yesterday whether it was still a good buy at $249, and so the deal is nicely timed for them.

OR, you don’t have to scan the deal page very much to find a better deal.

With this other deal, you get a different Milwaukee M12 Fuel power tool bundle. This other bundle looks to give you the same M12 Fuel brushless hammer drill and impact driver combo kit, plus the same bonus XC 5Ah battery, and also a 40pc screwdriver bit set.

I criticized these deals the other day, because some of the bundled listings had pricing that was greater than the sum of the components.

Today’s deal is different – they’re the same price.

The other day, the combo kit, battery, and screwdriver bit set was $249. I gently criticized HD, because one could buy the combo kit plus the same bit set for $239. Why pay another $10 for the deal of the day?

I’ve seen the same deal bundles a couple of times now.

But today, the price of the larger bundle, with tools, extra battery, and bit set, is the same as for the tool set plus battery. $224.

So now I’m wondering if my post prompted the change. It was $25 more for a $15 bit set several times now. I pointed it out and the next time we see the same deal, they’ve dropped the price so that you’re paying $0 extra for the $15 bit set compared to the deal bundle that doesn’t have it.

They also have another bundle with a bit set that retails at $40, for $18 more than the non-including bundle.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence.

I’ve seen the same pricing pattern several times now. I mention it in a post, and the price changes at the next opportunity. Would the prices have changed if I didn’t gently call them out?

Anyway, the price change was notable, and there are more tool deals of the day today, you might want to browse through if you have a chance.

Deals end at 3am ET 10/10/26 unless supplies sell out sooner.
