An angle grinder is a very powerful, very versatile tool that can help with everything from sharpening lawnmower blades to cutting tile to polishing quartz countertops to flattening uneven concrete. It’s a great tool for anyone who regularly does work around the house or car and needs something with a bit of juice. Right now, you can find out for yourself just what a good angle grinder can do with a model from a reputable brand that’s available at a steep discount.
The Craftsman V20 Cordless Angle Grinder Tool Kit is on sale for $99 at Amazon, 48% off its normal price of $189. Crucially, it’s a tool kit, which means it comes with both a battery and a charger. Often, tool deals are on so-called bare tools that come with neither, so this is an exceptional discount on a power tool you can use out of the box.
Like the best power tools, this angle grinder combines raw power with clever design touches. It has an electric motor that can spin an attached 4.5-inch disc up to 8,500 RPM. The handle by the trigger is contoured and over-molded for comfort even over long periods of use, and the handle closer to the blade can be placed on the left side, right side, or on top depending on the handedness of the user and what they’re using the grinder for. There’s a spindle lock that makes changing discs simple and a guard you can move tool-free.

One shopper called this a “nice grinder for small to medium jobs” because it has “plenty of power with the 4Ah battery.” They “couldn’t be happier with this purchase,” which combined Craftsman quality and a great price — much as today’s deal does.
Other satisfied customers called this grinder a “top-notch tool” that’s a “great solution for jobs that are not close to a power outlet.” One wrote that they use it on their farm to “cut through metal, sharpen blades, clean up nails and screws that poke through,” while welding, a testament to its versatility.
Whether you’ve got experience with angle grinders and want a powerful, portable model or are simply angle grinder-curious, the Craftsman V20 Cordless Angle Grinder Tool Kit is a great option, particularly when it’s just $99. We’re not sure how long this deal will last, so if you’re interested it’s probably a good idea to be sooner rather than later.
