Bucking the Trend
The usual trend in the auto industry is pretty predictable. A new model year arrives, a few features get added, and prices quietly move up. Not this time. Porsche is bucking that trend with the 2027 Cayenne Electric, stacking on upgrades but leaving the MSRP untouched from 2026.
Both the regular Cayenne Electric SUV and the swoopier Coupe get the treatment, but don’t expect performance tweaks. This round is all about making daily life cushier and letting owners choose more personalization options.

More Comfort, More Ways to Personalize
Here’s a first for the Cayenne: power doors. Forget yanking the handle – just give it a gentle tug and let the car do the heavy lifting. All four doors get in on the action, and you can boss them around from just about anywhere: buttons inside, the handles themselves, the touchscreen, or even your phone. Bonus: buckle up or tap the brake, and the driver’s door shuts itself.
In the name of safety, sensors watch for stray limbs or obstacles, stopping the door before it bonks into anything. The system also teams up with exit warnings to keep you from swinging into traffic, but you can always take over and open things the old-fashioned way.
Inside, there are new optional massaging seats. The front seats now have 16 air cushions and six sound actuators that work together to massage your back and move in time with your music. It feels like a spa experience while you drive.
You can choose from five massage programs, adjust the intensity, and set the vibrations the way you like. Porsche also offers Wellness Mood Modes, which combine massage, vibration, and custom soundtracks to help you relax while driving.
Personalization options have been expanded. The Cayenne Electric now offers Porsche’s Paint to Sample program, giving you a choice of 105 exterior colors, including both standard and optional paints.
There are also more interior options. With the Extended Package, you can choose Delgada Green leather accents and stitching, or add extra leather or Race-Tex to the seat consoles and door sills, all with matching contrast stitching.

Orders Open Now, Deliveries Start Next Year
As promised, Porsche is leaving the price tags alone. The Cayenne Electric SUV kicks off at $109,000, while the Coupe starts at $113,800. Step up to the S Electric, and you’re looking at $126,300 for the SUV or $131,200 for the Coupe. The Turbo Electric? $163,000 for the SUV, $168,000 for the Coupe. Of note, none of these numbers include the $2,350 in destination and handling fees.
