Supercars aren’t always driven, so you can imagine that Hypercars are even more protected by their owners. There’s a notion that these ultra-high-performing cars are fragile and unable to deal with the daily or frequent rigors of driving.
The term ‘Garage Queen’ is often applied to these well-kept and hidden cars, but some people are advocates of driving them; one such person is going viral for reaching a driving milestone in his own personal Hypercar.
62,000 Huayra
Pagani is often referred to as a true engineering automaker, but what makes it different is that its attention to detail is blended in with the desirability and style of a true Hypercar. This is why models built by the brand are some of the most expensive cars on the market. One of its latest models is the Huayra, the replacement for the Zonda, and it features a lot of ‘space age’ technology like active aerodynamics.
One Huayra owner, called 1slocrx on Instagram, posted about his personal milestone. In his post, he details that his Pagani Huayra has just reached over 62,000 miles (100,000 kms). You have to remember that the Huayra, when new, cost over $1 million dollars, so clocking in that many miles in it is no joke and is also a testament to how well-built Pagani’s are.
The owner commemorated the milestone by stopping over and having a bottle of Fiji water and a bar of Twix. He has also hinted that he has no plans of stopping, with his post indicating his next mileage goal of 100,000 miles, which would probably make his Huayra the highest-mileage owner-driven model.

Changing The Norm
While most high-performance brands don’t necessarily advocate or openly say that you can and should drive your expensive cars daily, some brands are now openly saying that their cars are reliable and well built.
Take Bugatti and Rimac CEO Mate Rimac as an example; he recently posted about his own mileage achievements in none other than the cars his companies make. Rimac posted that he had driven a Chiron 109,361 miles, and also put in 41,000 miles on a developmental unit of Rimac’s new Nevera EV Hypercar.
