Klein Tools just launched a new ModBox 4-wheel rolling tool box dolly, model 54828MB.
And, just like that, they’ve got my attention.
I learned a long time ago that I strongly prefer accessing, moving, and storing my modular tool boxes on top of a 4-wheel rolling cart.
For my uses, a 4-wheel base works a lot better than a 2-wheel mobile base.
A few years ago, I learned that a foot brake makes things a lot easier.

You wouldn’t think this was a big deal, but it is. Foot brakes are a quality of life type of feature that only one other brand has integrated into their rolling tool box cart so far.
Sure, you can lock 2 of the swivel casters. But I often just want to attach or remove a tool box to a stack without having to lock the casters. That’s where foot brakes come in.
