Greenworks has launched their own modular tool box system, called ProPack.
With a name like that, it seems Greenworks is aiming their new tool storage system at professional users.
This first look is made possible by Jake at @Weighe_designs, a tool storage expert whose knowledge and obsession rivals and maybe even exceeds my own.

Jakes’ early first look of the Greenworks ProPack system shows that there will be a rolling drawer tool box, 2-drawer and 3-drawer tool boxes, and parts organizer.

Each plastic tool box has square recess rails on the sides for attachments and accessories.
Details are still emerging, such as whether the rear handle on the rolling tool box is removable or not.

There will also be tool bags.
Greenworks ProPack modular tool boxes will be coming to Walmart.
Thanks to Jake for the first look and image permissions. Be sure to check out his channels for more modular tool storage info, comparisons, add-ons, and accessories.

Thoughts on Greenworks ProPack?

Walmart has previously launched a Hyper Tough modular tool box system. See New Hyper Stack Tool Storage System is Coming to Walmart.
You can still buy Hyper Stack tool boxes, although it seems the retailer hasn’t expanded the line.

They also had a Hart modular tool storage system, but Walmart has since discontinued the entire brand. See Hart Tools are Leaving Walmart – What Comes Next?
What are your thoughts on the Greenworks Pro tool box system?
It doesn’t look very premium to me, but maybe this is intended to be the higher-tier option, similar to how Home Depot has Husky and Ryobi Link systems at lower price points, Dewalt ToughSystem and Ridgid systems in the middle, and Milwaukee Packout and Makita MakTrak at the top.
Are Greenworks tool boxes replacing Hart and Hyper Stack as well? Or maybe just Hart. There’s only so much room for plastic tool boxes and accessories at Walmart stores.
I have strong hesitations about buying into a Greenworks system that’s exclusive or at least centered around Walmart. We can see what Greenworks is launching now, but there’s no guarantee they’ll expand the line over the next few years.
Walmart seems to rotate through suppliers every couple of years – what happens if they drop Greenworks for something fresher and better?
Greenworks has been landing some major contracts lately – they took over the tool department at Target, are supplying Lowe’s with Kobalt cordless power tools (see Lowe’s Partnered with Greenworks for New Kobalt 24V Tools) and batteries (which have already been pulled from stores, see Lowe’s Pulled Kobalt 24V & 48V Outdoor Tool Kits from Stores).

Greenworks hasn’t released any press or media info (and I doubt they will – they never bother to answer questions), but maybe you’ll see more on their social media channels in between meme posts.
As for the system itself, the construction looks cheap to me, but likely fitting for what you can expect at Walmart price points. It’s not easy to judge from just a couple of photos.
The good news is that Greenworks is launching the system with drawers from the start.
What do you think about the latest modular tool box system?
