Williams Hard Handle Screwdriver Used on Machine

Williams makes hard-handle screwdrivers that are similar to Snap-on’s, which makes sense seeing as how the tool brand is owned by the Snap-on corporation.

I bought a set to try out around 16 years ago, and it doesn’t look like the design has changed at all.

Williams 5pc Screwdriver Set

Williams Endurogrip screwdrivers feature a black handle, and a hex bolster is available for most sizes and styles.

You can buy the screwdrivers separately, and the sets are fairly priced.

There are no color options.

No fancy features.

In my experience, the ergonomics are okay. Durability is good. They’re easy to clean.

They’re not “best in class” in any regard.

These are still – from what I could tell – a solid and reliable choice among a shrinking list of made in the USA screwdriver options.

Pricing starts at ~$46 for the 5-piece set. You sometimes get a better value with some of the higher part count sets. Individual sizes are also available.

Williams and Snap-on Hard Handle Screwdrivers

They’re not identical to Snap-on, but pretty close by my eye.

The Williams PH #2 shown here is priced at around $10. The Snap-on is $32.75.
