I spotted a range of new Bosch 12V cordless sanders and polishers.
From what I’m seeing, there are 6 new cordless sanders and polishers, and they’re all available now.
I asked Bosch for more information last week, but haven’t heard back yet. In the meantime, I’ll summarize what I’m seeing.
I found (3) 3-inch sanders and polishers.
GEX12V-77N – sander with 3/32″ (2.5mm) orbit.
GPX12V-77N – polisher with 15/32″ (12mm) orbit for lighter work.
GPO12V-77N – polisher with lower speed, for heavier work.
I found (2) 1-1/4″ sanders.
GEX12V-32N – compact sander with 1/8″ (3mm) orbital motion.
GSS12V-32N – sander with 3/16″ (5mm) orbital action for high material removal rate, Amazon description says it’s for “wet or dry” sanding.
I also found a 5″ random orbital polisher.
GPX12V-125N – polisher with 5/16″ (8mm) orbital motion.
To sum things up, there are (2) 3″ polishers, one for lighter work and other for deeper work, a 5″ polisher, (2) 1-1/4″ sanders, one with low removal rate and the other with higher removal rate, and a 3″ sander.

1-1/4″ detail sander with 3mm orbit (less aggressive) – GSS12V-32N
1-1/4″ detail sander with 5mm orbit (more aggressive) – GEX12V-32N
3″ sander with 2.5mm orbit – GEX12V-77N
New Bosch Polishers
3″ polisher for light scratches or surface work – GPO12V-77N
3″ polisher for deeper scratches or heavier work – GPX12V-77N
5″ polisher – GPX12V-125N
I hope that makes sense – it took me a bit of time scrutinizing the product descriptions and specs to sort this out.
The 1-1/4″ and 3″ sanders are described as being suited for wet or dry sanding applications.
From what I’m seeing, all of the sanders and polishers have a variable speed switch and speed range selection controls. The 3″ tools all have a lock-on feature.
All of the tools seem focused on automotive bodywork applications.
Some of the tools have an interchangeable pad system, but I couldn’t find any details about how it works.
Prices range from $469 to $699, each, for the tool-only sanders and polishers.
