Once you’ve built up a suite of batteries befitting your arsenal of power tools, you’ve got to keep them charged and ready to go. If you’ve got a single charger, adding a dual charger will triple your charging ability and correspondingly decrease the number of times you’ve got to swap a charged battery for a dead one. It’s also a more compact option than two single chargers that occupy half of the outlets. Right now, Amazon has a great dual charging option from a name brand on sale for $40 off.

The Craftsman V20 Dual-Port Power Tool Battery Charger is $89, 31% off its typical $129 price tag. We’re not sure if this sale is technically tied to Black Friday, but it’s close enough that it seems unlikely to be much cheaper, if at all, when the holiday shopping season finally rolls around.

This charger is compatible with Craftsman V20 batteries only, but there’s also a USB port to charge other devices. Each battery slot has a corresponding LED light to indicate whether the installed battery is charging, fully charged, or delayed due to temperatures that are too hot or cold for safe, effective charging. It can be mounted on a wall to save space or slotted onto Craftsman Versatrack garage storage system rails.

One shopper wrote that this charger worked faster than the one that came with his V20-powered vacuum, taking roughly 50 minutes to charge from empty to full instead of 90. “Overall, I’m very happy with it and would buy it again” after it exceeded all expectations.

Another put it more simply: “This is a fast charger for two Craftsman batteries,” they wrote. It “works great.”

While not quite as sexy as a new saw or powerful impact wrench, the Craftsman V20 Dual-Port Power Tool Battery Charger is arguably a more useful item because it helps you get more out of all of your tools. It’s earned a “Deal selling fast” label, so if you’re ready to beef up your power tool setup we’d recommend grabbing one soon for $89 before they sell out.
