I stopped by my local Home Depot the other day, to see what kinds of tool deals they had for their hyped-up Spring Black Friday sales event.
What I found was disappointing.
Corded Dewalt Deals!
Not to mince words, I wouldn’t have minded too much if the prices were good. But they weren’t.
Ho-hum pricing on ancient Dewalt corded power tools.

They had the Dewalt construction jack for $119. Each.
No wonder the display was still full.
Next to it, Dewalt ToughSeries 25ft tape measure for $37.
That’s a great tape measure. But $37?!
Home Depot has some Dewalt cordless power tool deals online, and the pricing is alright but mostly uncompelling.
The Milwaukee cordless power tool deals seemed very seasonal-standard to me, but that’s still a lot better than HD’s poor Dewalt promos.
I probably sound very judgy. Let me know if I’m being unfair, dramatic, or critical. Wouldn’t you expect a better showing for “Spring Black Friday?”
