The new Milwaukee Tool MT702 will soon be launching – preorders have opened with an early April 2026 ETA, just a few weeks away.
This is the first Milwaukee electrical hand tools beyond screwdrivers and pliers to be manufactured at their USA facility in Wisconsin.
The Milwaukee MT702 features precision-ground wire stripping holes for 8-18 AWG solid and 10-20 AWG stranded, a v-shaped wire cutting blade for use on copper and non-metallic wire and cables, and bolt shears for 6-32 and 8-32 machine screws.
There’s also a wire looping hole, spring-loaded handles (with swing lock), and dipped-style handle grips.
The pliers are backed by Milwaukee’s lifetime guarantee.
Milwaukee clarifies that their new wire stripper is made in the USA with USA-sourced materials. In other words, there are no qualifiers such as about global materials.
