Stanley Lifting Jack Attachment Installation Examples

Dewalt and Stanley have upgraded their identical lifting jacks with a new extension that increases the max operating height, model DWHT83554.

With the new Dewalt ToughSeries construction jack extension, users can get up to 27″ of lift.

The maximum lifting capacity is still 340 lbs.

It looks like attachment and removal is tool-free.

The full lifting range with the attachment is 12 to 27 inches.

Dewalt advertises that it can be used for things like:

  • Upper cabinets
  • Decking
  • Staircases
  • Shelving
  • Undermounted sinks
  • Cabinet skins
  • Framing
Viking Arm Lifting Jack with Extension Attachment for Cabinets

The new extension looks to be very similar to the ones Viking Arm launched a while ago.

Viking Arm filed an infringement legal complaint against Dewalt’s parent company in 2024 (see Viking Arm Filed Infringement Action Against Stanley Black & Decker). The complaint was settled last year with a licensing agreement (see Patent Dispute Over Dewalt Construction Jack has been Settled).

I’m guessing that the new Dewalt attachment is part of the same licensing arrangement.

While not unique, it looks like it could be convenient.

Pricing details are not yet available, but I’ve started to see some dealers claiming “on sale” pricing of $50 each.

Due to how the height extension attaches to the Dewalt and Stanley construction jacks, it doesn’t look like it’ll work with Irwin’s QuickLift jacks.
