Bfirst Rep Package

I had a weird social media experience today.

BFirst Apparel Initial DM

So, I received a DM inviting me to be a fitness and lifestyle “representative.”

On occasion I get “brand ambassador” requests on occasion from random brands I’ve never heard of.

But here, it was from a random 0-follower account.

They say they “ran into limits” with their main account DMs. That’s a red flag that always screams “SCAM!” or “FRAUD” to me.

So I looked up the company and sent them a quick DM pretty much saying hey, someone is impersonating you.

Because that does happen.

There are scammers that prey on influencer-hopefuls. Lots of people are eager for free stuff, growth, visibility etc, and some scammers impersonate brands to take advantage of this.

This company, BFirst Apparel, seems to have 177K followers on Instagram, and so naturally I thought it was an impersonation scam attempt. Sometimes I ignore scam attempts, other times I report them to the brand.

BFirst Apparel Ambassador DMs

The brand then rapid-sent me what looks to be 11 or maybe 12 DMs with so many emojis.

“Yes, this is real.” That’s usually a red flag.

As an “ambassador,” you get “new drops” for “next 2026 season and beyond” for 100% free, plus commissions.

Then they said:

BFirst Apparel Ambassador REP Costs

I’m sorry – what?

You have to BUY a starter “Rep Package.”

WAIT, there are only 3 spots left! And if you order now, you get the “owner’s hookup” where “if you can purchase the Starter right now” they’ll “personally make sure you’re upgraded Exclusive level commission and perks.”

Is this some kind of multi-level marketing scheme? An outright scam of some kind?

It seems super shady.

BFirst Apparel is one company, and looking online they have a terrible reputation. But based on some of the complaints I’m seeing, it seems their tactics apparently work, and that gives rise to the possibility of copycats.

It’s only a matter of time before some shady tool resellers copy BFirst Apparel’s business model.

Be careful out there.
