Hilti launched a new Nuron dual bay battery charger, C 8D/DC-22, that delivers a whopping 900W (36A) of power output.
The new Hilti Nuron 22V dual bay charger is described as their fastest, and can recharge batteries in both bays at the same time.
It features active cooling with 3 built-in fans. Hilti says this brings batteries to a chargeable temperature faster after heavy use.
With this also being a “flash charger,” it has a boost mode that can rapidly charge one Nuron B22-260 flash battery to 80% in as little as 20 minutes.
From how it was explained to me, the boost mode allows the Nuron flash battery to charge up to 2x faster.
Summary: If you’re on the Hilti Nuron cordless power tool platform, the new charger gives you i) simultaneous charging of 2 batteries, ii) faster “flash” charging of the new B22-260 12Ah battery, and iii) active cooling for bringing heavily used batteries down to charging temp quicker.
While this is one of the new chargers that delivers the power boost needed for the fastest charging of the new B22-260 flash battery, it’s compatible with all Hilti Nuron batteries.
